Ruth Kamande was found guilty of the Murder of her boyfriend Mr. Mohamed and was sentenced to death. She then filed an appeal before Kenya's Court of Appeal where a 3 Judge bench heard her Appeal. In her Appeal, she was represented by Kenya's former Attorney General, Senior Counsel Githu Muigai.
