Our episode this week is on the 2007 sci-fi video game Mass Effect! This space opera, action RPG was a critical hit for Bioware, and one of our favorite games ever. You can still enjoy this gem, and maybe a remaster is headed our way in the coming year (?). We discuss the ease of driving the Mako, whiny guys named Carth/Kaiden, paragon/renegade moral implications, xenophobic crewmates, and tons of romance discussions (cause we can’t help ourselves). Basically humans were exploring, did some stuff unknowingly since they hadn’t encountered any other intelligent life at this point, and ended up starting a war with the Turians.
