Dr. J. Christopher Gayton is an orthopedic doctor who helps patients in Conway and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He is a fellowship-trained hand surgeon and is board certified in orthopedic surgery. He specializes in hand and upper extremity care, such as treating injuries and conditions of the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder, including carpal tunnel syndrome and arthritis. He also treats fractures of the upper and lower extremity.

He completed his undergraduate degree in cellular biology at the University of Georgia and his medical doctorate at the Medical College of Georgia – Georgia Regents University. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency training at Wright State University and his hand and upper extremity fellowship training at Allegheny General Hospital.
