"People don't want to talk about sex." For Doc Vinn, founder of LoveYourself and staunch HIV awareness advocate, this adds to the growing concern about the spread of HIV in the Philippines.

He also clarifies the DOH data where a 418% increase in new HIV infections were recorded in the Philippines between 2010 and 2022. On one hand, he says this shows that more and more people are getting tested, but on the other, there is an uptick in positive cases.
