Hello and welcome back to Unstuck! This week, I'm talking about something that is so near and dear to my heart, and something that I've struggled with countless times in my 20s. I'm talking about feeling lonely as an adult.
A lot of enter the world after college, and we quickly realize that the same things that were socially fulfilling in school don't necessarily provide the same value now that we are in the real world.
Your 20s are statistically the loneliest decade of your entire life. If you moved away from home to go to college, then moved to a new city for a job, your parents live halfway across the country, your friend group feels transient, and you don't yet have a partner (if that's something you want), all of these things add up to a loneliness crisis.
So what can we do about it? Well, I have 4 solutions that I outline in this episode to help you combat the feeling of loneliness, and approach this issue strategically. We talk about removing the power that the fear of being alone might have over you.
I promise, by the end of this episode, you will feel 10 times better about being alone, and you will walk away with 4 useful strategies to start healing the parts of yourself that feel lonely.
