Raianna Brown, who founded Komansé Dance Theater, debuted Skid January 2019 at Georgia Tech’s Ferst Center for the Arts in Atlanta. She talks about how the work came together, the spectrum of human emotions she examines in it, and why representation is important onstage and in the audience.
