My guest today is former Scottish Commonwealth Games High jumper Jayne Nisbett.

I was incredibly blown away by Jayne’s journey from her experience with bulimia during her athletics career to then suffering a significant back injury in the run-up to the Commonwealth Games. However, Jayne’s infectious never give up attitude led her to achieve her dream and compete at a home Commonwealth Games in 2014.

Jayne has since retired from athletics and is now a successful author, motivator, and blogger.  Jayne gives us a great insight into her journey and how she found that inner strength to overcome her mental health and injury struggles. She has created an amazing online platform where she shares her experiences and helps other people overcome their own battles, to become the best versions of themselves.

Jayne is an incredibly strong advocate for developing mental strength, by leading by example and even competing in endurance events such as marathons and triathlons. She uses her platform to help talk about pertinent topics that can help us all, from sharing her experiences to how we can help ourselves grow into the person we want to through the application of key habits.

If you are looking to get inspired and develop your self-confidence, self-belief, and mind-set I highly recommend listening to this. It will leave you feeling empowered and revitalized.
