For centuries, there have been reports of a mysterious creature originating in the South Jersey mashes called the "Jersey Devil." Many frightening stories have been shared about this creature, but it remains elusive. And it continues to be more than merely an urban legend in New Jersey and other parts of the Northeast coast. To this day, people report sightings of something so bizarre, so incredible unexplainable, that the lore of the Jersey Devil is engrained in the culture of the Jersey shore and beyond.
