In this episode, we try to get to the bottom of why we guard our ideas for projects. We hash out a model to classify ideas as urgent vs. luxurious, and novel vs. iterative (this seemingly nebulous terminology is defined as the model is developed). We ask what makes a project novel, and when an idea should be shared or kept secret for moral or personal reasons. Examples served include cooking blogs and search engines, with a side of Vsauce.
