Alicia Latoya Daniels was born on July 28, 1983 in Georgetown, Guyana. She is a poet, teacher and entrepreneur. She is a trained primary educator and has been involved in primary level education for over a decade. Her early years of schooling were spent at Freeburg Primary and North Georgetown Secondary . It was in sixth form at the Bishop's High School that she completed her Caribbean and Communication studies at C.A.P.E.
