One day, probably frustrated with someone caught st the intersection of addiction and manipulation, I decided to consider what little I know about manipulation.  As I made that very short list I observed a pattern which I had seen enacted many times in many lives.  I become convinced that manipulation progresses along a very predictable path.  Identifying it early may allow you to combat it before it becomes a terrifying monster living within the structures of the relationship which should be most fulfilling.
