So the story goes...
We came to the Netherlands on a whim of the Spirit—just a few open days, a hunger to pray, and a desire to see what God might be doing here and in Switzerland. The plan was to spend a short time in the Netherlands and head to Switzerland for the majority of our trip.
But as our time in The Hague was winding down, we felt a pause in the Spirit—an invitation to linger a little longer. So we prayed a simple prayer: “Lord, if You give us the connection we’re supposed to make, and a place to rest, we’ll stay.”
Not even thirty minutes later, my friend Meka messaged me about some friends of hers in Arnhem. They had already heard about us, felt stirred to connect, and even opened their home to us. That next day, we were still in The Hague and unsure how to make the trip—until they told us they just happened to be in The Hague at that very moment. They offered to drive us back with them.
What followed was one of those sacred, unexpected gifts: beautiful hospitality, deep spiritual conversation, and the slow formation of friendship. Their home was full of kindness, honesty, and a real love for Jesus.
Join us for breakfast in this episode which captures faith-filled conversations about family, hearing God’s voice, and what it means to trust Him in the in-between.
