Scott M. Coley holds a Ph.D. in philosophy from Purdue University and a Master’s degree in systematic theology from the University of Notre Dame. His research focuses primarily on moral epistemology, philosophy of religion and political philosophy.

He teaches courses in moral and political philosophy, history of philosophy and logic at Mount St. Mary’s University.

In addition to presenting at academic conferences, Scott has published his work in the peer-reviewed International Journal for Philosophy of Religion and served as a peer reviewer for the journal Faith and Philosophy. He’s currently working on a book about political philosophy that deals with problems of institutional justice from the standpoint of Christian morality. You can find him on Twitter @Scott_M_Coley.
