Given our current economic situation, crime is running rampant in our streets as well as the virtual world. It is then of utmost importance that we avoid "get rich quick schemes" because they will leave you at a far worse situation than before.
A Ponzi scheme is a fraudulent investing scam promising high rates of returnwith little risk to investors. A Ponzi scheme is a fraudulent investing scam which generates returns for earlier investors with money taken from later investors. This is similar to a pyramid scheme in that both are based on using new investors' funds to pay the earlier backers.
