Morgan and Alanah discuss the current state of the world and how systematic oppression has hugely affected and created the culture we live in. Coming from the perspective of the oppression of women, we try to understand and educate each other on the systematic and institutional racism that affects many minority groups across Canada and the United States. We take a look at our privilege and our hopes for how this can be corrected. African American and Ingenious people are being affected immensely and are too often victims to police brutality. We talk about the justice system, political spectrum and the black lives matter movement and protests. We do not “understand” but “stand” to eliminate racism”.
