Professor Robert Percival is the current director of the environmental law program at Maryland Carey Law. Prof. Percival is the preeminent scholar and founder of the field of global environmental law, which analyzes how nations interact and copy other nation's environmental laws for the betterment of the world. Our conversation follows the breadth of his career: from his work at the EPA banning lead in commercial gasoline to aiding the modernization of the People's Republic of China's environmental regulatory framework.
