Show notes
Kristy Kowal is one of the greatest breaststrokers in American history. She competed at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia and took home a silver medal in the 200 Breaststroke. Kristy also was the first American woman to win a world championship title in the 100-meter breaststroke in 1998. A University of Georgia graduate and two-time NCAA Swimmer of the Year (1999, 2000), Kristy was also the first woman in history to break the 1-minute barrier in the short course yards 100 breaststroke. Kristy’s story is inspiring and we had a blast getting to talk with her about her experiences on her journey to becoming an Ultimate Swimmer!
