The Two Broads had helicopter parenting on their minds but per usual the conversation quickly grew into something more zoomed out.  Parenting is hard, awesome yet hard but we wondered if sometimes we make it harder by being in our own way, forgetting to make it fun and missing things that could ease the weight of responsibility. Parenting may be extra hard when we are racing to  grow up before our kids.
