This film contains extracts from a workshop for teachers in which Nicholas Hytner explores Act 2, scene 4 from Twelfth Night with a group of actors to show how the text might be approached to create a performance.

Shipwrecked on the shore of Illyria, Viola believes her twin brother Sebastian to be drowned. She disguises herself as a boy and enters the service of the love-sick Duke, Orsino, who proceeds to send her to woo Olivia on his behalf… This collection features content about the staging of the play and from the 2010 production directed by former Artistic Director of the National Theatre Peter Hall.
