Stumbled upon this podcast looking for a review of Portishead. Wound up listening to the converge episode. This podcast is so effin good. These guys are really eclectic and insightful/ inciteful. They incited me to write this review and BEG them to do an episode on “Isis.”

Love it
Cliff and Kyle clearly put a lot of heart and soul into every episode, but it’s also never cheesy or rehearsed. I like that it just feels like a really good conversation with two people who love music as much as anyone I’ve ever met, and they’re always covering a wide variety of artists in ways that encourage me to give spins to albums I might not have otherwise considered.

The best of its kind
I'm a podcast fiend. If I'm not listening to music, then I'm jamming a podcast. And as a musician, I've scoured the land of podcasts for the perfect music poddie. There are some really exceptional ones out there (Song Exploder, Dissect, Broken Record, and Aquarium Drunkard, to name bu a few), but TuneDig is exactly what I wanted in a music podcast. Deep dives into albums in bite-size episodes. The tone of these guys is perfect. I'm living in a place where there isn't a ton of music culture and most of my music-obsessive friends are hours away, which is typically how I got to nerd-out on albums. To listen to these guys, I get my fix. It's like I'm getting to hear my friends gush about specific moments on albums. It also doesn't hurt that our tastes overlap. There isn't a single album they've done so far where I question it place. And when you do a deep dive into Norma Jean, John Coltrane, BADBADNOTGOOD, Childish Gambino, Mars Volta, and Converge, well, count me in. There's also a range of albums and voices they cover, so there's something for everyone. I'm so pyshced this podcast exists. Keep up the great work, guys.

2 guys from Atlanta who know their music
Cliff and Kyle have the unique capability to educate you, take you “cruisin’ through the ATL” down memory lane and challenge your prior notions about music — all in about 30 minutes. Grab a beer, take a seat and join their conversation.

Refreshing, informative, entertaining
These guys know what they’re talking about but educate the listener in an easy-going and entertaining way. Can’t wait for more episodes. Who knows - maybe their knowledge-dropping will help me win trivia one day.
