The Minnesota Wild had an up and down week, shutting out the Ducks twice, with two different goalies. After a nice comeback, the Wild couldn't finish in St Louis, and things were bad from the get go in Los Angeles. A fairly busy week for the Minnesota Wild, making four trades, two of which were fairly popular younger players in Brandon Duhaime and Connor Dewar, along with veterans Patrick Maroon and Nic Petan. Marat Khusnutdinov made his arrival in Minnesota, and any day now, will be in the lineup, for the long-term future! All of this while the Wild went 3-1 this past week, involving one of the gutsiest calls by a coach in team history! The Minnesota Wild had a solid week, beating the Oilers in Edmonton, following up with a 5-2 convincing win in Seattle, and ultimately coughing up the lead twice to Carolina, in a week where Kirill Kaprizov would bring in the NHL's number one star. The Wild quickly signed major prospect Marat Khusnatdinov to a two year entry level contract, and he will suit up with Minnesota "Eventually".
