Hello dear listeners, and welcome to today's TSF1 Greece Podcast, where we will dive into the Las Vegas Grand Prix! The race kicked off with Max Verstappen taking a bold lead over Charles Leclerc at Turn 1, while an early incident involving Perez, Bottas, and Alonso led to a Virtual Safety Car and pit stops. The drama intensified when Lando Norris crashed on Lap 3, resulting in a Safety Car, during which Verstappen received a five-second penalty. As the race progressed, Verstappen and Leclerc engaged in a gripping contest for the fastest lap, with Verstappen extending his lead post-restart. Meanwhile, Esteban Ocon made impressive strides, ascending to P6. A significant turn of events occurred on Lap 16 when Leclerc claimed the lead as Verstappen pitted to serve his penalty. Sergio Perez then became a formidable contender, overtaking Leclerc for the lead, while Verstappen, undeterred by his earlier penalty, clawed back to P3. The concluding laps were marked by fierce competition among the top drivers, with Verstappen regaining the lead on Lap 37. In a late twist, a lock-up by Leclerc allowed Perez to secure P2 briefly, before Leclerc made a last-lap surge to reclaim the second position.
