The 9-month trial of Lucy Letby, who was accused of endangering 17 infants, included testimony from experts who described how Lucy allegedly used air to kill the infants as well as physical assault and dislodging breathing tubes. The jury has been considering the case for 18 days. Letby, a former paediatric nurse at the Countess of Chester hospital in northwest England, vigorously contests every accusation.
