John Zink is Owner and President of IT Avalon, a successful IT staffing and professional services company. Prior to founding IT Avalon, John spent more than 26 years in technical recruiting for niche firms and the largest IT staffing company in the world. He is the host of the True Ambition podcast, where he talks with business leaders, sports figures, and entertainers about what drives their success in life.

John is a devoted husband to Carisa and doting father to Johnny. He is an accomplished drummer and vocalist who enjoys performing live. A positive person that looks for the best in people, John’s true ambition is to help make other people’s lives better, and he is currently writing his first book on the topic. In his spare time, he enjoys fine cigars and spending quality time with his family and good friends.
