On this episode of Tru Crym Podcast, we talk about Karina Holmer the 20 year old au pair from Sweden who came to Boston for a fun summer... and ended up at the center of one of the city’s most unsettling unsolved murders.Karina was found brutally murdered — her body had been washed, cut in half, her upper body discovered in a trash bin, and the bottom half never recovered. We get into who she was, the weird details around the night she went missing, and some of the strange people tied to the case. It’s been almost 30 years, and somehow, no one has any solid answers.Sources for this episode:https://coldcasene.org/f/karina-holmerhttps://truecrimereport.news.blog/2023/09/03/the-unsolved-murder-of-karina-holmer/https://www.bostonherald.com/2021/06/16/editorial-time-to-solve-96-murder-of-karina-holmer/https://youtu.be/fvZDza64dI0?si=vkfj-iuqPPx-_9Ti
