An integral aspect of any genuine spirituality is modesty. A Muslim's spirituality, which centers on devotion and obedience to One God, includes the inner and exterior modesty of hayaa. Both inner and outer modesty are required of Muslims. Truthfulness, modesty, patience, forgiveness, charity, moderation, kindness, and consideration should all be priorities in one's life.
