-27 and Luke 6:47-49. In this parable, Jesus teaches us that to be wise is to build your homes on solid foundation and that only the foolish will build their homes on sinking sand. While that may seem obvious for an actual house, if we dive deeper we learn that the foundation is Jesus Christ and the word of God. We are not just building a house, we are building careers, family, businesses, relationships, etc. Anything we are building that we intend to last must be built on a solid foundation. Invite Jesus into every aspect of your life especially when starting something new. This is the wise thing to do.
