Being empowered means you are pouring into those around you while growing yourself. Empowerment comes through different channels. The ultimate source of encouragement is from the word. The more we run to the word and less to the world the more we realize that our identity isn't bound up in what other people say. How we are empowered to live out our calling isn't dependent on what compliment comes that day but on what passage we read that day.
