Show Title: The Fellowship of the Ring # 5
The Podcast show that believes that you can live a Transformed life every day.
Show Notes:
Introduction: Are you living a transformed life, or do you feel defeated? Brothers and Sisters don’t live defeated when you belong to Jesus Christ.
II Corinthians
5:17 reminds us, Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

Welcome to today’s show – We are going to provide you with some tools for living the Transformed Life every day.
Today’s show is called: The Fellowship of the Ring. I’ll not be speaking about Tolkien’s ring, as in The Lord of the Ring, but in what I refer to as a ring or circle of friends. Did you know that even Jesus had His inner circle of friends? Three of the twelve disciples were a part of His inner circle (His ring) of fellowship of friends consisted of Peter, James, and John.
If you are able, I want you to grab a sheet of paper and draw a small circle in the center of it – write the name Jesus in that circle. Next, draw a circle around the Jesus circle, and this time write the names of Peter, James, and John. Now draw a third ring, and this time write the names of the remaining disciples. Were not done. Draw another circle and write the Seventy, and finally one more circle, and this time write 120. This small exercise shows us that Jesus Himself wasn’t an island unto Himself. His life intersected with people all around Him. And this is what I want to talk about on today’s Transformed Life Podcast. We will be right back.

A Key Biblical Principle for Transformed Living: Christians need Fellowship
A Christian Guest for Transformed Living:
Welcome back to Transformed Life Podcast. The Podcast that believes it is possible to live the Transformed Life Every Day.
My Guest today is: Leatha Traphagan
My goal from the Transformed Life Podcast is to invite guests on the program whose lives have been changed by the power of Jesus Christ. Leatha, you have testified to having been transformed by Jesus Christ.
I want to begin by having you share your Salvation story:
Briefly describe your life before you came to Jesus Christ.
Next, tell us how did you come to faith in Christ?
Finally, tell us how God has been changing your life.
Now, I want us to turn our attention to the idea of The Fellowship of the Ring, or what is commonly called, Christian Fellowship, or Christian community. I want to ask you a few questions about fellowship and look forward to your response.
How important is the Christian Fellowship to you?
How has Christian Fellowship transformed your life?
What role does the Christian Fellowship continue to play in your life being transformed on a daily basis?
Leatha, if we have people listening to us that have never developed a Fellowship of the Ring (Circle of Christian friends) how would you suggest to them to get started? So, I want to ask you:
A Book for Transformed Living:  Here are to great books about Christian Fellowship.
In Life Together, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, renowned Christian minister, professor, and author of The Cost of Discipleshiprecounts his unique fellowship in an underground seminary during the Nazi years in Germany. Giving practical advice on how life together in Christ can be sustained in families and groups, Life Together is bread for all who are hungry for the real life of Christian fellowship.

What God Intended for the Body of Christ
Fellowship among believers is more than just talking over coffee after church service. Biblical fellowship in New Testament times―or koinonia―had rich and varied meanings, including covenant relationship, partnership in the gospel, communion with God and others, and the sharing of earthly possessions.
In True Community, bestselling author Jerry Bridges guides you through koinonia and its implications for today’s church. With discussion questions at the end of each chapter, this book will help you dig deeper into what Christian community in the twenty-first century should look like. You will come away with a new appreciation for fellowship, the church, and what God intended the body of Christ to be.
With a discussion guide for personal or group use.
