Dr. David Kutzik’s applied work is focused on the development and integration of smart technologies into care delivery models designed to maximize independence and functional health of elderly and chronically ill populations. He has played a leading role in the design, development, as well as extensive field testing of sensor-based behavioral monitoring technologies in the United States and Europe. This research has resulted in a series of patent-protected technologies which have been brought to the market as well as innovative methodologies for assessing functioning and impacts of technologies on both patients and care provision service and business models.
