Jintan tries to figure out the unfulfilled wish that has caused his childhood friend Menma to return as a ghost. He and his friends work towards building a rocket in the hopes that this concludes any business that Menma has on Earth, but as the day approaches and Jintan's feelings deepen, he struggles to accept her second departure.
