SUNDAY SERMON: Our study through the book of Acts continues as the apostles Peter and John face opposition in chapter four. We can see three primary things during this encounter:1) The persecution started because of the shifting spotlight2) The reality of the persecution requires a revelatory response3) The aim of persecution is complete silenceAs believers facing persecution and opposition, we can be encouraged by Jesus' words in Matthew 10:19-20."When they deliver you over, do not be anxious how you are to speak or what you are to say, for what you are to say will be given to you in that hour.
