On episode 39 of Topic: North Texas, I was joined by Dallas County Assistant District Attorney, Phillip Clark. In addition to his work as an attorney, Phillip was appointed by District Attorney John Creuzot to serve as the LGBTQ+ Community Liaison. During our conversation, Phillip discusses how a rise in cases involving LGBTQ+ members led to the need for a community liaison. By creating a task force, employees throughout the DA's office were able to develop respectful and responsive perspectives of social and legal issues facing the LGBTQ+ community.
