In this episode, I tackle the notion of getting help, when sometimes, getting that help is the hardest thing to do.
The problem with processing grief, or loss of any kind, is that it’s unique to each person. There’s not a cure-all, or a magic button you can press to instantly feel better. It’s up to the individual to try and cope. For some, family support is everything. For others, it’s a best friend, or a circle of friends.
But what happens when there’s no one? Or what happens when you’re discouraged from getting the help you need? The negative stigma that’s attached to therapy is still very much in play, especially for men. So what now?
Please give this episode a listen, and let me know what you think. Are you currently dealing with the loss of a loved one? Are you trying to process through therapy? Or have you had therapy in the past, and have strong feelings about it? Please give me your honest feedback in the comments!
