Rejection is a universal human experience that can elicit emotions from disappointment to devastation. However, societal expectations of masculinity often lead men to suppress or hide their emotions, making it more

challenging to process and deal with rejection and making it extremelydifficult to foster good, healthy, intimate relationships. Bringing two together to make one is difficult enough, but, the disparities that exist between how men and women handle emotions, communicate and generally show up for the relationship, makes it even tougher.
