They accidentally reveal themselves to aspiring journalist April O'Neil during a fight against criminals. As they join forces to stop a mutant gang led by Superfly, who plans to use Stockman's mutagen to dominate the planet, the turtles and other mutants eventually thwart Superfly's scheme.
