TMNT Shellcast digs deep into review of “Beneath These Streets” from season 3 episode 1 of the 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. In the episode, Splinter scolds the Turtles for slacking off on their martial arts training and assigns them double the exercises. Meanwhile, Krang and Shredder work to repair the Protein Silicon Brain using a stolen Medi-Laser, leading to a battle with Splinter and the Turtles. After Splinter is injured and comatose, the Turtles vow to find Shredder and eventually retrieve the stolen Medi-Laser, ultimately using it to save Splinter's life.Andrew kicks off season 3 with anchovy pizza AND a bonus slice (00:01:30) before Chris and Jon join to Select Your Bets: Season 3 (00:09:41).
