Episode 1 will focus on ‘pregnancy’, including how Sure Start support expectant mums whether they are first time mums or mums who are ‘a little more experienced’. This episode will outline the services Sure Start provide for mum’s to be such as their ‘Welcome to the world’ programme, reflexology and hypnobirthing classes and how you can get involved in the future.

#002 - The Baby Months

Sure Start is a programme which runs throughout Northern Ireland targeting parents and children under the ages of 4. The project delivers a wide variety of services which are designed to support children’s learning skills, health and well-being, and social and emotional development. Sharon Callagan (Children Services Manager) And Ruth Huey (Experienced Family Support Worker) will join Bridgeen MacManus as they talk about pregnancy and parenting for the first time, supporting families within the community and the challenges parents have faced during a global pandemic.
