-11 This third Sunday in Advent brings us to the Sunday of Joy. In this passage we see John the Baptist, who was the one who proclaimed Jesus as the Messiah now questioning whether Jesus is really the Messiah. Expectations can sow disappointment and our task is dying to our expectations of who Jesus is and just follow him and allow him to reveal his joy to us.
