It's Veterans Day and the title of this episode is an homage to how one of our featured female Veterans was described, in a journal recounting why she was able to disguise herself as a man to serve in an all-male military brigade. This month's NOPE is dedicated to women who have dressed as men to serve their countries as patriots when it was unsafe or illegal to do so. Finally, we end by commemorating the life and the story of Specialist Vanessa Guillen, whose life was tragically cut markedly short by a fellow brother-in-arms just this year.
