Today we interviewed THE Dr. Kelly Rush, an Associate finance professor at Mount Vernon Nazarene University as well as a certified Kingdom Financial Advisor. Dr. Rush is a very wise individual that I consistently learn from both in the realm of finances as well as what God has to say about what to do with our money and our lives. She has multiple lessons from all her experiences that you can learn from and then apply in your life.#1- Serve the people you are leading.#2- Dr. Rush Recommendations: The Bible- Crucial Conversations- https://www.amazon.com/Crucial-Conversations-Talking-Stakes-Second/dp/1469266822#3- Dr. Rush is learning that the more she learns the more she has to learn. As well as how to navigate negative times.#4- Dr. Rush has a hard time managing leadership and friendship. Create an environment where both people in the relationship can lead. #5- I should be a really good friend first when it comes to a leadership mentality.#6- I should go to Zambia, a third world country, as well as live and walk next to people with different opportunities than me#7- 1. God owns it all 2. You can't lead people where you haven't been.#8- Be a conduit to other people and live with an open hand.
