Jo Cabey is an elementary school administrator and adjunct professor. Jo is extremely dedicated to the academic and personal success of black children in America. 

Born and raised in the Bronx, New York, Jo is very proud of her Caribbean roots, which stem from the island, Montserrat. 
Jo is an advocate for survivors of sexual abuse and is a member of the Speaker’s Bureau with RAINN, the nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization. Additionally, Jo is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. 
She enjoys writing and speaking about a variety of personal interests, that include advocacy for women, mental health topics, and living your best life now.
