Lauren Segal is a four-time cancer survivor and author of the book 'Cancer: A Love Story'. Through her arduous journey in fighting the disease, Lauren discovers the unexpected opportunities that cancer presents - to confront her unmasked humanity, her fears, strengths and weaknesses. She discovers that a proximity to death brings with it a new proximity to life.
