Back for a final podcast of 2014, the Three Bad Wools are one wool short. James and Simon were minus Matt, but joined by Lee Mahady from the LFC Daytrippers to discuss recent matches, player performance, rant about Dejan Lovren and ask questions about whether Brendan Rodgers is the right man. None of them would shut up, so it's a bumper length show. Call is a festive gift for your ears.

For the first time since April, the situation at Liverpool has seen enough pessimism thrown around to warrant a return of the Three Bad Wools as James, Matt and Simon throw their collective thoughts into the proverbial melting pot. They discuss the summer transfers - and Mario Balotelli in particular - as well as how the season has gone so far and how the rest of it might shape up. Plus, there's little love for either Simon Mignolet or Rickie Lambert and Roy Hodgson makes a brief guest appearance.

In the wake of Liverpool's 5-1 demolition of Arsenal (no, I will never get tired of saying that), the Three Bad Wools reconvene one Wool light as scheduling conflicts meant Matt was unavailable. Fear not however, as we're delighted to welcome Helen Jones as our first ever guest on the show. We talk Arsenal, Gerrard, the front three, transfers and games to come. And Helen makes an unfortunate lookalike comparison for Countinho.
