In this episode of Thoughtful Thursdays Mike Elkins, Daniel Fernihough, Misty Hageman, and Nik Walborn discuss an online article titled "9 Steps to More Effective Parenting". They discuss whether they agree with the 9 steps, and share parenting wins, fails, and just plain funny stories that you might be able to relate to as a parent. We weren't able to get through all 9, so in this episode we cover Steps 1-5 and next episode will be looking at Steps 6-9. Unfortunately we had a power issue with our camera while recording, which caused a loss of around 10 minutes of video footage in the middle of the episode.&nbsp;
