In my last episode, we discussed the idea of liberation music therapy, specifically how it could be integrated through liberation theory and equity-focused practices to investigate the relations between music therapy, mental health, and sociopolitical systems and associated behaviors. Music can elevate marginalized voices, address intergenerational trauma, and facilitate healing and empowerment through creative expression and community cooperation.
