Markiel Simpson is a member of the steering committee for the BC Community Alliance, a local non-profit organization that is dedicated to dismantling systemic racism. He is also a member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers Vancouver Hub and the Lower Mainland’s representative for the BC NDP’s Indigenous, Black, and People of Colour Committee.
