- My guest today is Vanessa Mieses of Tulsa Picnics. Tulsa Picnics is a pop-up picnic experience that creates unique, intimate & elegant picnics settings all throughout Tulsa. Tulsa Picnics launched in January of 2021 and is a two-hour experience for intimate celebrations of 2-10 people.
WHAT WE DISCUSS
- Vanessa and I discuss what life was like growing up in New York and Florida. She talks about how her favorite childhood birthdays parties were picnics in Central Park. She shares about her family's heritage, and how her parents inspired her by being business owners. We discuss the importance of financial freedom, education, and investing. She shares how Tulsa picnics sprouted with wanting to create the ultimate picnic experience for her friend's birthday. At the end, we discuss her various partnerships with other local women business owners, the variety of venue options, as well as the three styles of picnics available.
