Why forgiveness matters? Because through forgiveness we reunite ourselves with our brethren. We break the division and we maintain order and unity among us. But if we continue on to allow bitterness to get a hold of us, then we will be forever a prisoner of the spirit of bitterness and unforgiveness. Matthew 18:35 tells us: if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive yours.&nbsp;
