Episode 2 baby!!! " I constantly wonder what happens to a black girl who is to anxious to ever feel like magic" -Jae Nichelle
Being a black woman comes with its own set of pressure from birth. You deal with the struggles of being black in a world that constantly makes you feel. Then you have the struggles that come with being black and woman, the pressure to be resilient regardless of circumstance, to forgive transgressors with grace & the pressure to be good at everything simultaneously while being perfectly groomed. My mama did it, my grandma did it, i'm sure my great grandma and my friends do it but i'm not sure I can uphold the standard. So am i just black girl average?
there will be a part 2 because this one got personal for me
